How do participants in an RTI meeting prepare for the meeting?
DOCUMENT ALL COMMUNICATIONS WITH PARENTS in EASi RTI! Log into EASi RTI, click on the "Parent Communications" tab at the top of the page.
Consult with the Case Manager on your grade level.
Complete the RTI checklist, click here for a form.
Have your Case Manager, a team mate on your grade level, etc. to complete a 30 minute observation, using the form here
Make a referral in EASi RTI to the RTI Coordinator, click here to see the steps to follow. (An RTI meeting will NOT be scheduled until this process has been completed.)
RTI Coordinator – Sign-in Sheet, name cards, quarterly report spreadsheets for Central Services, facilitates meeting
· Classroom Teacher – Complete “Are you BUGGED by the RTI Process? Form, Complete Grade Level Checklist for RTI Meeting
· Case Manager (Coach) – Completed checklist for Assisting Teachers with the RTI Process Form
· Intervention Teacher - Help classroom teacher prepare student data and share information from small group sessions
· School Psychologist - Active participant
· Social Worker - Active participant
· Guidance Counselor - Active participant
· Nurse - Active participant if student has medical concerns
· Note Taker – Type notes on the laptop using the Bugg Creative Arts and Science Magnet School RTI Form. Once the notes are complete, print two copies. One copy needs to be put into a pink folder (if there isn’t already one in the child’s cum). Then, it needs to be filed into the child’s cum. The second copy needs to be given to the parent(s)/guardian(s).
