EOY events
· Purpose: Engage students in celebration activities signifying the year’s end
· Agenda/Program:
Each grade level will have a planned event, this may include graduation for Kinder and 5th

· Funding: If the event costs money, the student will need to absorb that cost unless the classroom teacher has managed to secure a sponsor or other support.
· Length of event: EOY events should last no longer than 2 hours.
· Due dates:
How do we get the word out?
· Weekly newsletter – classroom teachers responsible for sharing the information
· Flyers – created by a planning team sent home with students
· Website- information posted on main website- Mo will load
· Lead Secretary Weekly Newsletter
· School messenger- phone calls home (automatic-Ruth Ann will generate)

· Family members
· Other invited guests
Staff expectations
· Each grade level will plan their event and that plan will be shared with the Math coach and the math specialist from each grade to “see” the overall picture and share the plan with the Lead Artists
· Classroom teachers will create the necessary documents to promote their event
· Classroom teachers will create the evaluation to be used at the end of the event
Parent Involvement
· Parents volunteers to assist with planning and execution of the event
· Parent attendance
