Who is involved in the event outside of Bugg?
Event evaluation
- Purpose: To share learning with our family, other students, and friend
- Agenda/Program: Click here for last year’s program
- Funding/Source: Walnut Creek (WC) is donated to us. For the past two years, we have been fortunate to have a sound company (with Mr. Droessler) volunteer their time
- Other funding: Items needed for WC can come from parent donations, Magnet money (if we have money by that time), PTA donations
How do we get the word out?
- Weekly newsletter - classroom teachers responsible for sharing the information
- Flyers from school- created by planning team, sent home with students
- Website- information posted on main website
- School messenger- phone calls home (automatic)
- Lead Secretary weekly newsletter
- Local newspaper- send in the information (Mo)
- Invitations- send to folks of choice (mayor, school board, superintendent)
People In
- Free parking
- Childcare is NOT provided as this is a family-friendly event
- At this time, we do not provide transportation to the evening event
- All children will present on stage
Staff expectations for the event
- All staff is expected to attend and to DANCE in the Bugg staff piece
- The MI team will assign “jobs” for the evening to staff members that do not have a class
- The rehearsal is the day of the event and the classroom teacher is expected to be with their class
- The event is held in the evening and all staff is expected to attend
- Classroom teachers will secure parent volunteers to assist with the class during the evening
- Classroom teachers will work with the MI team regarding the creation of a piece to be shared at WC
- The MI team will take the lead in the planning and the execution of this event

- We invite members of the community
- Community volunteers –sound team, Walnut Creek
